Are you working in the wind industry? Do you have to follow a GWO safety training course, but is it difficult to create time in your busy working schedule? We do understand these issues at DELTA Safety Training. That's why we have expanded our GWO offering with the GWO Blended Learning training courses. You can follow the theory part through e-learning at home or wherever you want and you only have to come to our training center in Rotterdam for the practical training! In this article we will explain exactly what a GWO Blended Learning is, how it works and what the advantages of a GWO Blended Learning are.
What is a GWO Blended Learning training course?
Blended Learning is a combination of practical training and learning the theoretical part by e-learning. During the GWO Blended Learning training you will get the opportunity to follow the theory part at your own pace behind your computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone at a time and place of your choice, for example at home or at the office. So, you only need to come to our training center for the practical training part. This saves you training hours because you can learn the theory already at home.

How does a GWO Blended Learning work?
When you decide to book a GWO Blended Learning course, you will receive a link to access the e-learning environment (you will receive the link after you have received the booking confirmation). You can follow the theory part of the GWO training at a location of your own choice, at a time of your choice and at your own pace. The e-learning can be done on a laptop, computer, tablet or smartphone. It is most recommended to download the TalentLMS app on your phone or tablet in order to have the best learning experience. By the way, a smartphone screen is very small; so learning via a tablet, laptop or computer has a better learning effect and therefore we recommend this. It is expected that, before the start of the practical training, you will have completed the e-learning part. On the first day of practice, the instructor will check whether you have completed the e-learning at the start of the training or not.
Important!
If you have not completed the e-learning before the start of the first training day of your GWO Blended practice day, you will not be admitted to the practice training. Our instructors will test whether you have completed the theory part. If they notice that you have not completed the e-learning, you will not be granted access to the practical training and we will unfortunately be forced to charge you.
If you would you like to have a look into the e-learning áfter the practical training to revice the learning material? That is possible! Until 1 month after the start date of the practical training you have the possibility to log in to the e-learning environment. So, if you want to repeat the learning material after you have had the practical training, you can do that at your leisure.

We will therefore continue to offer the GWO (fully) classroom training courses, but if you prefere to do the GWO Blended Learning variant (partly classroom and partly e-learning) you can also book that from now on at DELTA Safety Training.
