Het Oranje Kruis
The Oranje Kruis is a Dutch organization dedicated to promoting first aid. Since its founding in 1909, the Oranje Kruis has aimed to disseminate knowledge about first aid (First Aid in Accidents) and train people to act appropriately in emergency situations. Among other things, the institute provides training and exams for first aid certification and offers guidelines and teaching materials to first aid instructors and training centers. The Oranje Kruis issues the official first aid diploma, which is recognized in the Netherlands as the standard for first aid skills. In addition, the organization sets requirements for the quality of first aid courses and trainers so that emergency responders have the right knowledge and skills to act effectively in an emergency.

Are teaching materials included in the price of first aid safety training?
For basic first aid training, a paper textbook is included in the open registration fee. A first aid refresher training does not include a paper textbook. For an additional fee you can still order a paper textbook. -
How can I check the validity or authenticity of a Het Oranje Kruis certificate?
Please contact DELTA Safety Training and keep the certificate number, surname and date of birth at hand. -
Will I receive a pass when I pass a Het Oranje Kruis course?
No, you will not receive a badge if you pass the training. You do receive a digital diploma from the Orange Cross. You can apply for a pass if you want one. The cost for a pass is EUR 15 excluding VAT. -
Will I also receive a paper Het Oranje Kruis certificate?
No. It is also not possible to receive a paper certificate at extra cost. -
Will I receive a digital Het Oranje Kruis certificate?
Yes, you will receive a certificate in .pdf format in your e-mail after we have received it from Het Oranje Kruis.
