GWO Manual Handling - Refresher (Blended Learning)
This GWO Blended Learning refresher training is for you if you work in or around wind turbines, perform physical labor in the process, and hold a GWO Manual Handling certificate that needs to be renewed. Blended Learning means that digital learning is combined with practical training. As a trainee you first learn the theoretical knowledge by means of e-learning. The duration mentioned in the left menu of this training page represents the number of practical training hours at our location. In addition to this duration, there are also the number of training hours that you will spend on the theory part at home. After that you follow the practical part at our location. This saves you time, money and allows you to prepare more efficiently for the practical training!
The GWO Manual Handling - Refresher Course is one of the five modules of the GWO Basic Safety Training - Refresher, developed by the Global Wind Organization (GWO) for people working in the wind industry. The full package teaches participants everything they need to know to work safely in the wind industry and consists of the modules:

This refresher course is applicable to you if you are a holder of the GWO Manual Handling certificate and want to meet your refresher obligation and refresh your knowledge.
Are you inexperienced in safe lifting and injury prevention in a wind turbine environment, or do you not (or no longer) have a valid certificate? Then book a basic training.

The training is given in English. On request or if only Dutch-speaking students participate, the instruction can be given in Dutch.

What are the admission requirements for the GWO Manual Handling - Refresher (Blended Learning)?
- Valid GWO WINDA ID*
If you already have a WINDA ID: Please enter it in the comments field in the booking form.
If you do not have a WINDA ID yet: please request one. After filling in the requested data, an activation code, valid for 48 hours, will be sent to you by e-mail. Once you activate it and enter your password, you will receive a confirmation with your WINDA ID. Your WINDA ID will also appear at the top right of the page at that time. This WINDA ID is required for the registration of your certificates. We kindly ask you to send us your WINDA ID (preferably a few days before the training) by e-mail. -

- Digital certificate as proof of completion. A paper certificate will be not sent by default. However, if desired, you can receive a paper GWO certificate at an additional cost of €25 excluding VAT. You will receive the same certificate upon completion of the GWO Manual Handling - Refresher (Blended Learning) as if you were taking the classroom version.
