To remain a professional driver, it is necessary to take refresher courses every five years to maintain your Code 95 points. You must take refresher training of at least 35 hours every five years. Don't do this? Then you are no longer allowed to drive professionally. You can take the refresher training by taking a safety training course certified by CCV. You can take the forklift Code 95 training course as a refresher course if you are a driver. The forklift safety refresher course is intended for you if your forklift certificate is about to expire or if you already have extensive experience working on a forklift. The hours of this training count towards Code 95 (7 hours). If you obtain the forklift certificate Code 95, you will be able to work safely and efficiently with a forklift. Any ingrained, unsafe habits will be corrected by our instructors. Forklift Code 95 training focuses on loading and unloading a truck. The forklift Code 95 certificate is valid for five years.   • What is Code 95?

    Code 95 is a European directive that has been made mandatory for drivers who drive a vehicle that requires a C2, C, D1 or D driver's license. To show that you are and remain competent, you must take refresher courses every five years. By taking these refresher courses, you earn Code 95 points. Every five years you must obtain a minimum of 35 points, otherwise you are no longer competent to drive the vehicle. Depending on the number of practical lessons of the training course, a number of Code 95 points are awarded for completing the training course.

  • Why was the European directive established?

    The aforementioned European directive was introduced to promote road safety in Europe. This directive should reduce accidents involving either buses or trucks. An additional reason why this directive was introduced at the time is to reduce overall fuel consumption in Europe. This will contribute to a better and cleaner environment which ultimately benefits both the planet and people. The fact that every driver has to take refresher courses every five years will, by all accounts, increase road safety.

  • How do the Code 95 points show up on my driver's license?

    Have you fulfilled the mandatory 35 hours? Then this will be passed on to the RDW. The RDW registers your hours and when you pick up your new license they will add the Code 95 points to your license. You can check the status of your hours at www.mijnccvexamenhuis.nl. When you register, make sure to indicate that you want to take the training and that you would like to do so according to the Code 95 refresher training guideline, because we will eventually pass on your hours to RDW. If we do not know that you want to qualify for Code 95 points, unfortunately we cannot pass anything on to the RDW.

  • What is the difference between dependent and independent breathing protection?

    With dependent breathing protection, you breathe in the ambient air through a filter. You can therefore only wear dependent breathing protection if the ambient air contains sufficient oxygen. Is there not enough oxygen in the ambient air? Then you must wear independent breathing protection. With independent breathing protection you do not breathe in ambient air, but the breathing air is supplied through the use of, for example, an oxygen tank.

  • What types of respiratory protection are there?

    Respiratory protection can be divided into two main categories: environment-dependent respiratory protection and environment-independent respiratory protection.

  • Why is breathing protection necessary?

    In some circumstances, employees will have to work in an environment where you cannot breathe the ambient air because it is too dangerous to do so. If you do not wear the correct respiratory protection you can poison yourself and the risk of suffocation is high. In this training you learn when and how to use dependent breathing protection.

    Different booking conditions apply for this training because the exam takes place under the supervision of the SIR and we have to take into account the conditions set by them. Cancellations for an already requested SIR exam, less than 15 working days before the start of the training, cannot be made free of charge.

    This socket termination course consists of a theoretical and a practical part, where the following topics are covered:

  • Can I attend a FOET training course if I have no previous knowledge?

    No, that is not possible because the FOET is the refresher training of the NOGEPA 0.5A/BOSIET. You must therefore have followed the basic training before you can follow the refresher training.

  • What does FOET mean?

    FOET stands for Further Offshore Emergency Training.

  • What is the difference between NOGEPA 0.5B and FOET?

    NOGEPA 0.5B and FOET are two names for the same training. The FOET (NOGEPA 0.5B) is a refresher course of the BOSIET (NOGEPA 0.5A).

  • What is the difference between EBS and CA-EBS?

    EBS stands for Emergency Breathing System and CA-EBS stands for Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System. Using an EBS extends the time you can spend underwater. A rebreather allows you to keep breathing underwater when you need to escape from a helicopter in the water. When you use a CA-EBS, you breathe air that comes from an air bottle. When this bottle is empty, you will no longer be able to breathe underwater.

  • Who will attend a NOGEPA 0.5B with EBS training course?

    Personnel working in the offshore oil and gas industry. When working offshore, you need to be aware of specific requirements and rules. During this training, our expert instructors will tell you everything about these requirements and rules.

  • What is the difference between NOGEPA 0.5A and NOGEPA 0.5B?

This training is intended for helicopter passengers who are required to wear a survival suit with an integrated breathing system (CAT B EBS) during offshore flights. The training provides additional in-depth instruction on top of previous HUET evacuation training and focuses on the safe and effective use of a CAT B Emergency Breathing System (rebreather) during emergency situations involving helicopter evacuations at sea.

Additional information
Starting April 1, 2026, helicopter passengers traveling to the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) are required to demonstrate that they have completed this CAT B EBS training as part of the applicable HUET/EBS requirements. The training is provided by an accredited training provider and meets applicable quality standards and mutual recognition requirements. Training quality is ensured through accreditation and oversight by Element NL. This training is in line with Norwegian legislation (BSL D 2-3 §3a) and is delivered in accordance with the Offshore Norway GSK training plan, including the associated competency objectives 3.7 and 3.8.

Please note: This training course and the accompanying certificate are recognized only in the Netherlands, Norway, and Denmark, and not in other countries.

The OPITO CA-EBS training (OPITO code 5904) is intended for personnel traveling by helicopter to and from offshore installations/ships. This system will be provided to these personnel for use in the event of an emergency situation such as an emergency landing on water. The Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System has replaced the older EBS systems (Emergency Breathing System, also known as air pockets) in many places, which collected the user's breathing air and reused it several times to extend the escape time.

The Escape Chute Training (formerly NOG or OLF supplement) is a training is given according to the guidelines of Norsk olje og gass (NOG - The Norwegian Oil & Gas Association). This organization was formerly called Oljeindustriens Landsforening (OLF). The training is intended for personnel working in the offshore oil and gas industry.

Despite existing agreements between the United Kingdom, Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands regarding mutual acceptance of each other's training standards within the North Sea, this certificate is requested for some platforms in Norwegian waters.

Incidentally, this supplement should not be confused with the S-Cape training.

    A confined space is either a closed space or a space that is partly open and partly closed and has a narrow entrance. Enclosed spaces are not designed for people to stay in. A confined space is often cramped, restricting movement, making it difficult to gain access to the confined space and, consequently, restricting escape routes.

The NOGEPA 1.9 Banksman training is required to extend the validity of the NOGEPA 1.9 (A/B) Banksman certificate. The most important parts of the theory and practice of the NOGEPA 1.9A Banksman basic training will be repeated.
The practice-oriented NOGEPA 1.9 Banksman training course has been specially developed for operational staff involved in lifting activities on board ships and/or on oil platforms and petrochemical installations. In this GWO Basic Safety Training - Offshore - Refresher (BSTR) Blended Learning you follow the theory online in your own time and at your own pace. You can also follow this part on an electronic device of your choice. The Blended Learning training GWO Sea Survival - Refresher is meant for you if you are a holder of the GWO Sea Survival certificate and if you want to fulfill your refresher obligation. In the training you will get tools to act safely and take the right preventive measures during offshore activities. The duration mentioned in the left menu of this training page represents the number of practical training hours at our location. In addition to this duration, there are also the number of training hours that you will spend on the theory part at home.

The GWO Sea Survival - Refresher Course is one of five modules of the Global Wind Organisation's (GWO) developed Basic Safety Refresher Training for people working in the wind industry: GWO Basic Safety Training - Refresher. The full package teaches participants everything they need to know to work safely in the wind industry and consists of the modules:

  • GWO Sea Survival Course Content – Blended

    The GWO Sea Survival - Refresher (Blended Learning) training course covers the following topics:

    • Dangers and symptoms of hypothermia and drowning
    • Understanding the benefits and limitations of the various LSA, PPE and PFPE commonly used in the offshore wind industry and how to use them
    • Safe transfer from vessel to jetty, vessel to platform and vessel to vessel
    • Know emergency procedures and safety on the installations, vessels and WTG
    • Knowledge of SAR, GMDSS Recovery and First Aid after 'man over board'.
    • Evacuation of a WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) on water with a "Constant Rate Descender".
    • Perform individual and collective survival techniques at sea.

  • GWO Sea Survival Refresher Training – Blended

    This refresher course is for you if you are a holder of the GWO Sea Survival certificate and if you want to meet your refresher obligation and refresh your knowledge.
    Do you have no experience with survival at sea, or do you not (or no longer) have a valid certificate? Then book a basic training.

  • What are the benefits of a GWO Sea Survival – Blended course?

  • In what language is the GWO Sea Survival – Blended course taught?

    The training is given in English. On request or if only Dutch-speaking students participate, the instruction can be given in Dutch.

  • What are the admission requirements for the GWO Sea Survival – Blended course?

    • Valid GWO WINDA ID*

    If you already have a WINDA ID: Please enter it in the comments field in the booking form.
    If you do not have a WINDA ID yet: please request one. After filling in the requested data, an activation code, valid for 48 hours, will be sent to you by e-mail. Once you activate it and enter your password, you will receive a confirmation with your WINDA ID. Your WINDA ID will also appear at the top right of the page at that time. This WINDA ID is required for the registration of your certificates. We kindly ask you to send us your WINDA ID (preferably a few days before the training) by e-mail.

      • Driving licence
