From now on, you will receive your certificates digitally!

We are constantly looking for ways to reduce ourcarbon footprint. For example, 25% of our fleet is now fully electric. In tenders from large multinationals and government organisations, we have also noticed that ourCO2 reduction approach has (partly) contributed to our winning the tender.

We print thousands of certificates every year, which are then collected by PostNL and delivered to our customers.
A while ago, we therefore started sending our certificates both digitally and in hard copy. Now that we do so, it appears that our customers actually no longer attach any value to a paper certificate.

We have also noticed that certifying bodies now only send digital certificates, or are in the process of doing so.

In addition toCO2 reduction and environmental benefits, not sending paper certificates anymore also results in cost savings (labour, toners, paper, postage). By only issuing certificates digitally, we achieve cost savings that prevent us from having to raise our selling prices.

See below for each type of certificate what a duplicate paper certificate costs, or where you can look up the validity of various certificates online.

DELTA

  • Please contact DELTA Safety Training and keep the certificate number, surname and date of birth at hand.

  • No, it turns out that the passes were used less and less, because you can save the digital .pdf certificate on your smartphone and thus show on your phone that you are competent.

  • No. For an additional charge of EUR 17.50 excluding VAT, we will send a paper certificate by mail.

  • Yes, you will receive a certificate in .pdf format in your e-mail.

GWO

  • The Personal Safety Logbook (PSL) is a personal booklet in which you can collect all your diplomas, skills and possibly medical data. It is not mandatory to have a safety passport, but it is a useful document in which you can keep all the above information together.

  • Please check the GWO WINDA database and make sure that you have your WINDA ID, which you want to check, to hand. Please note: You must have a WINDA account to be able to check a WINDA ID. If you do not yet have a WINDA account, please create one. Alternatively, you can always contact us to check the validity.

  • Yes, if you pass, you will receive a free sticker from us immediately after the training.

  • No. For an additional charge of EUR 17.50 excluding VAT, we will send a paper certificate by mail.

  • Yes, you will receive a certificate in .pdf format in your e-mail.

OPITO

  • You can check the validity and expiration date of your OPITO certificate on the OPITO website.

  • OPITO operates a standard dispensation scheme separate from COVID-19. If you are performing your work offshore and your OPITO certificate expires exactly during that period, you can make a so-called "Request Dispensation OPITO." This is the only valid reason for working offshore with an invalid OPITO certificate.

  • The Personal Safety Logbook (PSL) is a personal booklet in which you can collect all your diplomas, skills and possibly medical data. It is not mandatory to have a safety passport, but it is a useful document in which you can keep all the above information together.

  • You can contact us to check the validity of an OPITO certificate. We will then look in Vantage, the diploma database of OPITO. Please have the certificate number, surname and date of birth ready. You can also download the OPITO TRAIN-R app to check a certificate. Download the mobile app from the Apple App store or Google Play.

  • Yes, if you pass, you will receive a free sticker from us immediately after the training.

  • No. For an additional charge of EUR 17.50 excluding VAT, we will send a paper certificate by mail.

  • Yes, you will receive a certificate in .pdf format in your e-mail.

NOGEPA

  • The Personal Safety Logbook (PSL) is a personal booklet in which you can collect all your diplomas, skills and possibly medical data. It is not mandatory to have a safety passport, but it is a useful document in which you can keep all the above information together.

  • Since 1 July 2020, NOGEPA certificates have also been registered in the Central Diploma Register (CDR) of Stichting Samenwerken voor Veiligheid (SSVV). The SOG and VCA diplomas we issue are also registered in this register. Please have the last name and date of birth at hand, or the personal VCA diploma number. Please contact us to check the validity of NOGEPA diplomas issued before 1 July 2020.

  • No. For an additional charge of EUR 17.50 excluding VAT, we will send a paper certificate by mail.

  • Yes, you will receive a certificate in .pdf format in your e-mail.

STCW

  • A muster book is a booklet in which all personal and important data about work experience and training are recorded. Every seafarer must have a monster booklet. The muster book is valid for 10 years.

  • Yes, if you pass, you will receive a free sticker from us immediately after the training.

  • No. For an additional charge of EUR 17.50 excluding VAT, we will send a paper certificate by mail.

  • Yes, you will receive a certificate in .pdf format in your e-mail.

VCA & SOG

  • To do so, visit the Central Diploma Register (CDR) of the Safety Cooperation Foundation (SSVV). Have the surname and date of birth at hand, or the personal VCA diploma number.

  • No. For an additional charge of EUR 40 per SCC or SOG certificate excluding VAT, we will send a paper certificate by mail.

  • Yes, you will receive a certificate in .pdf format in your email. You will also be able to request the results (with the exception of Twin Ferrule Fittings) and a digital pass and save it on your phone, often as early as the first working day after the exam. Have the last name and date of birth ready. Fill in the surname without the prefixes. If you have passed, you can scan the QR code that appears or click on 'digital pass' and take a screenshot of the pass with your phone as proof. Alternatively, you can put the link to the digital pass on your phone as a shortcut. Note: the digital pass only works for SOG and VCA exams taken by our examination bureau PBNA. The following passes are included: - All VCA diplomas obtained at PBNA after 1-1-2015; - All SOG diplomas obtained at PBNA after 1-1-2018.

NIBHV

  • For a basic FAFS training, a paper textbook is included in the open registration fee. For a FAFS refresher training, no paper textbook is included in the open registration fee. For an additional fee you can order a paper textbook.

  • Please contact us and have the certificate number, surname and date of birth ready.

  • No, the NIBHV does not issue passes anymore.

  • No. It is not possible to receive a paper NIBHV certificate at additional cost.

  • Yes, you will receive a certificate in .pdf format in your e-mail after we have received it digitally from NIBHV.

Het Oranje Kruis

  • For basic first aid training, a paper textbook is included in the open registration fee. A first aid refresher training does not include a paper textbook. For an additional fee you can still order a paper textbook.

  • Please contact DELTA Safety Training and keep the certificate number, surname and date of birth at hand.

  • No, you will not receive a badge if you pass the training. You do receive a digital diploma from the Orange Cross. You can apply for a pass if you want one. The cost for a pass is EUR 15 excluding VAT.

  • No. It is also not possible to receive a paper certificate at extra cost.

  • Yes, you will receive a certificate in .pdf format in your e-mail after we have received it from Het Oranje Kruis.

DNV

  • You can check this in CertCheck. Please have the surname and date of birth ready.

  • No. For an additional charge of EUR 17.50 excluding VAT per certificate, we will send a paper certificate by mail.

  • Yes, you will receive a certificate in .pdf format in your e-mail after we have received it digitally from DNV.

SIR

  • You can check this in the certificate register of the Industrial Cleaning Foundation. Have the surname and date of birth ready.

  • No. It is also not possible to receive a paper SIR certificate at extra cost.

  • Yes, you will receive a certificate in .pdf format in your e-mail from the SIR.

CS-OO

  • You can check this in the certificate register of the VOMES Foundation. Keep the date of birth and the registration number at hand.

  • Yes, you do receive a pass by post when you have passed.

  • No, you will not receive a paper certificate by mail. The cost for a duplicate paper certificate is EUR 17.50 excluding VAT per certificate.

  • Yes, you will receive a certificate in .pdf format in your e-mail after we have received it digitally.

NOG (OLF)

  • The Personal Safety Logbook (PSL) is a personal booklet in which you can collect all your diplomas, skills and possibly medical data. It is not mandatory to have a safety passport, but it is a useful document in which you can keep all the above information together.

  • You can contact us to check the validity of a NOG (OLF) certificate. Please have the certificate number, surname and date of birth ready.

  • Yes, if you pass, you will receive a free sticker from us immediately after the training.

  • No. For an additional charge of EUR 17.50 excluding VAT, we will send a paper certificate by mail.

  • Yes, you will receive a certificate in .pdf format in your e-mail.

Medical examinations

  • If you are going to follow SOG training (this applies to the training course Independent Respiratory Protection Basic and Independent Respiratory Protection Review), it is compulsory to have either a compressed air examination or a respiratory air examination before the training. It is also compulsory to have been inspected before you carry out your final work.

  • No, it is not compulsory to have a safety passport (PSL) before you can participate in a training course. It is also not compulsory to have a PSL in order to carry out your work.

  • A Chester Step Test is not mandatory before participating in the training courses. If you are going to follow one or more of the training courses below, it is mandatory that you have had a Chester Step Test before your final work. This concerns the following training courses: GWO Basic Safety Training Onshore Basic, GWO Basic Safety Training Offshore Basic, GWO Basic Safety Training Onshore Refresher, GWO Basic Safety Training Offshore Refresher, GWO Working at Heights Basic, GWO Working at Heights Refresher, GWO First Aid Basic, GWO First Aid Refresher, GWO Sea Survival Basic, GWO Sea Survival Refresher, GWO Fire Awareness Basic, GWO Fire Awareness Refresher, GWO Manual Handling Basic, GWO Manual Handling Refresher, GWO Advanced Rescue Training Basic, OPITO BOSIET, NOGEPA 0.5A, OPITO FOET, NOGEPA 0.5B, OPITO HUET

  • If you are going to participate in a NOGEPA training course, it is mandatory to have a NOGEPA Offshore rating. When participating in OPITO training, it is not mandatory to have an Offshore rating before attending an OPITO training course. It is mandatory to have an offshore examination before starting to work offshore. If you are attending one of the following courses, you are required to have an offshore medical before starting to work offshore: OPITO BOSIET, NOGEPA 0.5A, OPITO FOET, NOGEPA 0.5B, OPITO HUET.

  • If you are going to follow one or more of the following courses, it is mandatory to have had a G41 examination before your final work: GWO Basic Safety Training Onshore Basic, GWO Basic Safety Training Offshore Basic, GWO Basic Safety Training Onshore Refresher, GWO Basic Safety Training Offshore Refresher, GWO Working at Heights Basic, GWO Working at Heights Refresher, GWO First Aid Basic, GWO First Aid Refresher, GWO Sea Survival Basic, GWO Sea Survival Refresher, GWO Fire Awareness Basic, GWO Fire Awareness Refresher, GWO Manual Handling Basic, GWO Manual Handling Refresher, GWO Advanced Rescue Training Basic.

  • The certificate is issued by the doctor immediately after the examination. Please contact us to explore whether we can still help you with a validity or authenticity issue.

  • No, you will only receive a paper certificate immediately after your examination by the doctor.
