The 2.5-day (consecutive) course Respiratory Protection B with SIR exam (Stichting Industriële Reiniging) is meant for users of respiratory protection equipment where the concentrations of hazardous substances, gases or vapours in the workplace are above the limit values for these substances and which pose a threat to health when inhaled unprotected. This training teaches you which respiratory protection devices there are, how a respirator and the multi-air connection (also called living air) work and how you can use them to carry out work safely.

The course Respiratory Protection B consists of a theoretical and a practical part.

Theory and practice instructions are given alternately. The SIR exam, which also consists of a theoretical and a practical part, is taken during the fourth half-day. A reading exam is possible for candidates with dyslexia or language problems.

This training is meant for people without experience as well as for people with experience who want to refresh their knowledge and/or have a valid diploma that will expire soon.

The above price of EUR 495 + EUR 104 is for SIR members. If you are not an SIR member, there is an additional surcharge of EUR 104, making the total exam fee EUR 208. The price for this training then becomes EUR 495 + EUR 208 = EUR 703 excluding VAT.
For SIR members, this then becomes EUR 495 + EUR 104 = EUR 599 excluding VAT.Please note that different booking conditions apply for this course. A one-off change or cancellation free of charge is only possible if the change is notified by e-mail at least 15 working days before the start of the training. Cancellations for the examination already requested from Stichting Industriële Reiniging less than 15 working days before the start of the training course cannot be made free of charge.
