Who is the training for?
The High Pressure Vacuum Operator training is designed for people who want to work with high pressure and vacuum equipment in industrial cleaning. These are often employees in the (petro)chemical industry, construction industry or waste management who deal with:
- High-pressure cleaning (e.g. cleaning tanks, pipes or industrial plants)
- Vacuum technology (such as sucking up liquids, mud or chemical waste)
- Maintenance and safety around these machines
The training is suitable for:
- Novice machinists who want to learn to work with this equipment
- Experienced employees who require certification to work according to applicable safety standards (e.g., SIR guidelines)

Admission requirements
- You hold a valid or no longer than 3 months expired SIR certificate High Pressure Operator (HDO) or an SIR certificate High Pressure Operator Machinist (HDO-M) that is less than 12 months out of date.
- You hold a valid VCA diploma (B-VCA, VOL-VCA or VIL-VCU)

Different booking conditions apply for this training because the exam takes place under the supervision of the SIR and we have to take into account the conditions set by them. One-time free rescheduling is only possible if the change is communicated by e-mail at least 15 working days before the start of the training. Cancellations for an already requested SIR exam, less than 15 working days before the start of the training, cannot be made free of charge.
