applicationsHigh Pressure Operator (HDO)
A high pressure operator is a person responsible for operating and maintaining equipment that operates under high pressure. This equipment can include boilers, pipes, pipelines, compressors, turbines and reactors used in various industries such as the oil and gas, petrochemical and power industries.
The duties of a high pressure operator may include monitoring and adjusting equipment pressure, performing maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting problems and malfunctions, and following safety procedures to reduce the risks of working under high pressure.
Working as a High Pressure Operator requires knowledge of the principles of pressure, temperature, flow and other technical aspects of equipment. It is also important to understand and be able to apply safety procedures to reduce the risks of working under high pressure.
The High Pressure Operator training is for you if you want to work as a high pressure operator and need to obtain the SIR (Industrial Cleaning Foundation) HDO certificate to do so.
