Theory

Basics of high-pressure technology (Operation of high-pressure pumps and accessories, Different pressure classes and applications, Materials and fittings: safety requirements and maintenance)

Laws and regulations (SIR directives, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Environmental and safety regulations)

Risk Analysis and Work Preparation (Preparation of Task Risk Assessments (TRA), Inspection of equipment and workplace,
Safety measures: depositions, signage and use of PPE)
Practice

Supervision and leadership (directing operators and machinists, performing workplace checks, providing feedback and adjusting in case of unsafe situations)

Communication and collaboration (communicating effectively with the team, using walkie-talkies or other communication devices, reporting incidents and deviations)

Calamities and emergency procedures (dealing with malfunctions, leaks or loss of pressure, first aid and evacuation plans, liaising with emergency services)

Who is the training for?
The High Pressure Supervisor course is designed for people who are responsible for safely directing and supervising work with high-pressure equipment. These are often professionals in industrial cleaning, petrochemical, construction or other sectors where high pressure is used.

- Work planners responsible for planning, risk analysis and coordination of cleaning work.

The training is provided in Dutch as standard.
The SIR exam Supervisor High Pressure can, besides Dutch, also be requested in the following languages.- German

Different booking conditions apply for this training because the exam takes place under the supervision of the SIR and we have to take into account the conditions set by them. One-time free rescheduling is only possible if the change is communicated by e-mail at least 15 working days before the start of the training. Cancellations for an already requested SIR exam, less than 15 working days before the start of the training, cannot be made free of charge.
