As of September 1, 2024, new SIR guidelines will apply and the format of the training and the SIR exam Pressure Vacuum Supervisor has been updated. Therefore, from that date, 'extenders' will also take the full training (SIR requirement) for the first time.
The Pressure Vacuum Supervisor (TDV) training course focuses on developing the knowledge and skills needed to safely and efficiently coordinate industrial cleaning work with pressure and vacuum equipment.

Training content
The Pressure Vacuum Supervisor training provides a comprehensive theoretical basis on pressure and vacuum cleaning techniques and their technical capabilities. In addition, ample attention is paid to the risks and corresponding safety measures. The course material is explained in a clear and practical manner, with recognizable examples from daily work practice.
The course content is constantly updated to ensure that it always reflects the latest industry requirements and developments.
The SIR exam consists of a theory test only; there is no practical exam. During the theory exam, candidates may use a paper version of thePressure Vacuum Cleaning Handbook.

The Pressure Vacuum Supervisor training course is designed for professionals who supervise industrial cleaning work that uses high-pressure and vacuum equipment.
The training focuses on developing knowledge and skills to safely and efficiently coordinate work processes, assess risks, and communicate effectively with both executive teams and clients.

Admission requirements
- You are at least 18 years old
- You hold a valid VCA diploma (B-VCA, VOL-VCA or VIL-VCU)

Different booking conditions apply for this training because the exam takes place under the supervision of the SIR and we have to take into account the conditions set by them. One-time free rescheduling is only possible if the change is communicated by e-mail at least 15 working days before the start of the training. Cancellations for an already requested SIR exam, less than 15 working days before the start of the training, cannot be made free of charge.
