The training focuses on assessing risks, selecting appropriate respiratory protection, instructing employees and enforcing applicable safety rules.

Training content
The Respiratory Protection Supervisor course provides comprehensive theoretical knowledge on the use of both dependent and independent respiratory protection equipment. The focus is on educating and training (prospective) supervisors in performing a thorough analysis around the proper use of respiratory protection equipment.
The course material is explained in an understandable way, supported by recognizable practical examples. In addition, the course content is constantly updated so that it always reflects the latest requirements and developments within the industry.
During the course you will work with the SIR Handbook of Respiratory Protection as a guide.

Who is the training for?
The Respiratory Protection Supervisor (TAB) course is designed for professionals who are responsible for supervising safe work with respiratory protection equipment in high-risk environments.
The Respiratory Protection Supervisor (TAB) is charged with:
- Conducting a task risk analysis (TRA)
- Overseeing the proper selection, use, maintenance and storage of respiratory protection equipment
- Giving instructions
- Monitoring compliance with methods in accordance with SIR guidelines concerning SIR risk categories A, B and C

In what language will the training be conducted?
The training is provided in Dutch as standard.
The SIR exam for the respiratory protection supervisor can be requested in the following languages in addition to Dutch.- German
- English
- French

Booking Conditions
Different booking conditions apply to this training because the exam takes place under the supervision of the SIR and we have to take into account the conditions set by them. One-time free rescheduling is only possible if the change is communicated by e-mail at least 15 working days before the start of the training. Cancellations for an already requested SIR exam, less than 15 working days before the start of the training, cannot be made free of charge.
