Basic safety SCC (B-VCA) - Examination

If you do not choose an SCC course as preparation, we offer an SCC-digibook, paper SCC textbook or an SCC e-learning as possibility so that you can prepare for the SCC Basic exam independently. If you want to start your B-VCA exam well prepared, you can also take a free B-VCA mock exam as extra practice material. You can download the free B-VCA mock exam on our course material page. You do not need any training, but do want to prepare yourself well for your exam so that you will eventually receive your VCA certificate? To obtain your SCC certificate, you must pass your SCC exam with a positive result. The Basic Safety SCC exam is available at several times and locations throughout the country. The basic safety SCC exam, which is taken by computer, takes a maximum of 60 minutes and is administered by a recognized examination agency. Your VCA certificate is therefore issued by a VCA-certified body.
For candidates with language and/or reading difficulties there is the possibility of a reading exam.

Please note that an SCC reading exam is not the same as an SCC oral exam. With an SCC reading exam, students are given headphones and the entire exam is read aloud. An SCC reading exam is possible on request. It is no longer possible to request an SCC reading exam during the on-site SCC exam, so if you are interested in this, you have to request it prior to the SCC exam.

No admission requirements

• Valid identification, choice of:
  • Passport
  • Identity card
  • Driving licence

• Costs VCA Basic exam.
• Digital SCC certificate as proof of completion. A paper SCC certificate is not standard sent. If desired, you can receive a paper SCC certificate at an additional cost of €25 excluding VAT. Read our blog article for more information.
• Coffee and tea

The Basic Safety VCA exam (B-VCA) can also be taken for groups at another location at home and abroad. The examination agency does set requirements for the location. We will gladly inform you about this.

If the exam dates at our location as mentioned above do not suit, it is also possible for groups to schedule a VCA Basic exam (possibly together with a course) at another time at our location.
