Interview with Sales Manager Suzanne

Interview with Sales Manager Suzanne

General FIRST AID/EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE Industry Offshore Shipping VCA Wind
24 February 2022

Meet Suzanne: the new commercial addition to our DELTA family. Suzanne has joined the team as Sales Manager in December 2021 and already feels like a fish in the water. In this interview, we introduce this enthusiastic, energetic and spontaneous colleague to you!

People person with a colourful CV
Suzanne has a broad and colourful background and entered the industry at a young age. This was followed by over 20 years of commercial experience in the petrochemical, wind, offshore and maritime industries. These commercial roles in different types of organisations are right up Suzanne's street. As a real people person, she gets energy from building personal and sincere relationships with people within her network.

Suzanne: "For me it is important that a relationship offers potential for both parties. Benefits for both. I like it when I can be the connecting factor between people and organisations and build sincere, personal relationships. I'm also just such a freak who remembers a lot of details."

Sales Manager Suzanne

Woman in control
Suzanne likes the fact that her broad experience within various industries comes together at DELTA Safety Training. It is her personal ambition to take the commercial department within our organisation to the next level and to bring the people behind our company much more into the picture for the target group. Creating a personal experience during the entire customer journey is high on Suzanne's list of priorities. Suzanne also follows her passions and ambitions outside our training centre. This power woman knows how to combine her full-time sales job with us with her work as a part-time sales and service specialist at a boat company and her most challenging job as the mother of eight-year-old Max. In any case, we are very happy to be able to add this lady to our team of driven and enthusiastic professionals!

Customer support manager

Interview with Customer Support Hero Rosanne

Interview with Customer Support Hero Rosanne

General
25 November 2021

When you contact our Customer Support department, there is a big chance that you will speak to our colleague Rosanne. Rosanne has been part of our enthusiastic team since the start of DELTA Safety Training. In this interview, we would like to introduce you to this lady who has been part of our company for years with great enthusiasm.

Workin' mom; no challenge too big
As Manager Customer Support, Rosanne strives to make the needs of both customers and colleagues transparent and she strives to fulfill the needs to their satisfaction. By being part of the management team, she is not only involved in the daily business, but she also thinks along at a strategic level to determine the direction our organisation should take.

Rosanne: "I like being able to translate strategic plans into solutions that better facilitate the team. For example, we are currently automating several processes, which makes booking and processing trainings easier for the team, but also contributes to better and faster communication with our customers."

Sales Manager Suzanne

The contact with people and the variation of work make the work challenging and fun according to Rosanne. When customers come up with complex questions that sometimes seem impossible to solve, Rosanne investigates the possibilities and it gives her a kick when she succeeds in meeting the demand. It happened once that a customer called in the morning with the question if an employee who had just landed at Schiphol could follow a training the same day, so he could start working on location the next day with a valid certificate. After moving heaven and earth Rosanne managed to make this possible. An achievement that not only made the customer very happy, but Rosanne herself also gets a lot of satisfaction out of it. This spider in the web not only finds herself in dynamic situations on the work floor, but has also been able to combine her challenging position with motherhood for a number of years now. We still haven't found out her secret, but she manages her time over and over again very well to meet the high expectations of both 'jobs'.

General Industry Wind
27 August 2021

At DELTA Safety Training, we believe that it is important to create a personal experience for our clients. Whether it's a visit to our training center or contact by phone or email, it is always nice to know who you're talking to. Regularly, we give you some insights from behind the scenes and we introduce our colleagues to you. This month, we put our colleague Bob in the spotlight. He is a training specialist within the wind and petrochemical industry.

Bob; wind and petrochemical industry specialist
Bob has been a member of our team of training specialists for over 2.5 years now. Bob is a true professional and has gained a lot of practical experience while working in the wind industry. He has carried out maintenance work on wind turbines in the most remote areas and is therefore more than familiar with the situations that arise in practice. Bob is responsible for, among other things, teaching the courses GWO Working at Height, Flange Mechanic, Fork Lift Truck and Socket Casting.

Sales Manager Suzanne

Bob: "When I worked as a maintenance engineer, I also followed many training courses, which I now provide myself. From my own experience I know that it can be stressful for participants to demonstrate their competences or take the exam at the right time. It gives me great satisfaction to take away the tension and to calmly teach the participants their competences or guide them towards the exam."

Sealegs
In addition to his experience in the wind industry, Bob also gained some practical experience in the offshore oil and gas sector. However, this proved to be a less successful experience. The lack of sea legs and the regular experience of seasickness made Bob prefer to stay on dry land these days. We are of course very grateful that Bob can now pass on all his knowledge and experience to the participants in our training courses.

General GWO Offshore OPITO Wind
31 May 2021

Personal contact is highly valued at DELTA Safety Training. Visitors to our training centre experience this through the pleasant contact with our staff. We also believe it is important for our clients who visit us less frequently to see the faces behind the organisation. This month, we would like to introduce one of our trainers:

Rolf; Wind and Offshore specialist
For four years, Rolf is part of our team of training specialists. With extensive experience in the safety industry and a background in teaching, Rolf gets much satisfaction out of training students and advising companies that are active in the wind and offshore industry. Actively contribute to a safer working environment is why Rolf enjoys teaching every day. At our training centre, Rolf teaches all GWO Basic Safety Training basic and refresher modules and OPITO BOSIET, FOET and HUET, among others.

Sales Manager Suzanne

Rolf: "Besides my work as a trainer, I also have an advisory role. For example, organisations often approach us to help them think about carrying out work as safely as possible in certain situations. In cooperation with the organisation, we can then develop a tailor-made training course and thereby contribute to increasing safety."

Of great heights
Rolf may have his feet firmly on the ground, but he also likes to spend his free time at altitude. With climbing as a hobby, it will not surprise you that teaching Working at Height is one of Rolf's favourite activities. Rolf also likes to think about solutions for complex work situations.
