Who are you and what is your position?
Rolf: Hi, my name is Rolf and I am a senior instructor for mainly "Offshore" and "Working at Height" training courses.
Mirja: Hi, I'm Mirja and I work as an instructor & SHEQ officer at DELTA.
How long have you worked at DELTA and why do you like this job so much?
Rolf: I enjoy working with people and making sure that as many people as possible can do their jobs more safely. I also find it valuable to teach people what to do in case of an emergency. In my work I am always active, I like that! I have been working at DELTA for 7 years now and I still enjoy it a lot!
Mirja: I have been working for DELTA for more than three years now. When I applied to DELTA, I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do, but the close-knit and friendly team and the varied work have ensured that I still enjoy working at DELTA.
What education/work experience did you have before doing this job?
Rolf: After I completed the Sport and Exercise course, I entered this world. Internally at DELTA I took a lot of courses to eventually be able and allowed to teach all these subjects.
Mirja: I studied International Leisure Manager before joining DELTA.
How did you end up DELTA Safety Training?
Rolf: First I was working at another training center. When I saw that DELTA had just started up, I thought this would be a great place where I could grow and provide various training courses.
Mirja: I came in contact with DELTA through a friend. The stories I heard from her sounded good, so I took the adventure and applied to DELTA. I was hired and allowed to start work immediately! Now, after 3 years, I can say that I am very happy with the choice I made back then!
What position(s) have you performed within DELTA so far?
Rolf: For several years I have been an Instructor and last year I advanced to Senior Instructor.
Mirja: I started as an Assistant Instructor and progressed to Instructor. Now I am both Instructor and SHEQ Officer.
