If you already have a valid SIR certificate Supervisor of Chemical Technical Cleaning, Chemical Technical Operator or Chemical Technical Inspector then you can take the Extension Course in Chemical Technical in order to be fully up to date with the current SIR requirements and the latest changes.

Training content
The Extension Course in Chemical Engineering consists of theoretical information and is designed to refresh and update the knowledge already acquired in the basic course with respect to updated regulations and legislation.

Who is the training for?
The Chemical Technical Operator Extension Course is designed for professionals who have previously completed the basic Chemical Technical Operator, Chemical Technical Supervisor or Chemical Technical Inspector course and wish to renew their certification.
This course focuses on updating knowledge and skills on chemical-technical processes and safety requirements in industry.- Experienced Chemical Technical Operators seeking to renew their certification to remain in compliance with applicable safety and operational standards.
- Production and process operators who want to update their knowledge on new technologies, legislation and safety protocols.
- Technical personnel in the chemical, petrochemical or other industrial sectors who wish to maintain their competence and continue to meet required standards.
- Operators working shifts who want to update their knowledge of process control and safety.

In what language will the training be conducted?
The training is provided in Dutch by default.
The SIR Chemical Technical Inspector and Chemical Technical Supervisor exam can only be applied for in Dutch.
In addition to Dutch, the SIR Chemical Technical Operator exam can also be requested in English.

Booking conditions
Different booking conditions apply for this training because the exam takes place under the supervision of the SIR and we have to take into account the conditions set by them. One-time free rescheduling is only possible if the change is communicated by e-mail at least 15 working days before the start of the training. Cancellations for an already requested SIR exam, less than 15 working days before the start of the training, cannot be made free of charge.
