Content STCW Security Awareness for all Seafarers
The Security Awareness for all Seafarers course covers the following topics:- Meaning and consequences of different security levels
- Knowledge of the ship security plan, procedures and contingency plans
- Observing and recognising safety risks
- Observing and recognising the characteristics and behavioural patterns of persons who may threaten security
- Techniques used to circumvent safety measures
The contents meet the requirements of STCW section A VI/6.1 and are based on IMO model course 3.27.

Basic and refresher training STCW Security Awareness for all Seafarers
This training is intended for people who have not obtained this certificate before.
The training does not require repeating.

The training is given in English. On request or if only Dutch-speaking students participate, the instruction can be given in Dutch.

What is a sample book?
A muster book is a booklet in which all personal and important data about work experience and training are recorded. Every seafarer must have a monster booklet. The muster book is valid for 10 years. -
Is there also a separate refresher version of the STCW Security Awareness training?
There is no repeat training of the STCW Security Awareness training. There is no obligation to repeat the training. -
