This practical training course is meant for people who are involved in maintenance and the installation of end sockets on steel wire ropes. In this training participants learn how to use resin to professionally and safely make end connections on steel wire ropes.

Contents of Socket Casting Training
This socket termination course consists of a theoretical and a practical part, where the following topics are covered:- Different types of end connections and applications
- Required tools and resources/materials
- Proper methods and procedures
- Preparations to be made
- What measurements should be taken and how should they be taken?
- Choosing the right end connection
- Mixing and moulding resin
- Selecting and applying an end connection yourself using the correct procedure
- Adjustments or methods in case of extreme cold and extreme heat
Much attention is paid to practice. The theory part is concluded with a test (written) and the practical exam is concluded with a self-made final piece of work in the form of a correctly applied end socket.
After successful completion of the training course and the exam, you will receive a certificate Socket Termination by Wire Lock Resin issued by DNV. This makes you competent to carry out socket casting in accordance with the NEN-EN 13411-4 regulations.
It is also possible to follow and complete the training with our own DELTA certificate instead of a DNV certificate. -
Basic and recurrent training in socket casting
This training is meant for people without experience as well as for people with experience who want to refresh their knowledge and/or have a valid diploma that will expire soon.

The training is given in Dutch. On request, instruction can be provided in English.
