GWO Manual Handling - Refresher

During this practical recurrent training GWO Manual Handling recurrent training you will learn how to lift loads safely and how to prevent injuries. The following topics are covered:

• Personal safety
• Theoretical basis for dealing with the risks associated with lifting loads
• Prevention of injuries
• Discussing a case study
• Practising using different scenarios

This refresher course is intended for holders of the GWO Manual Handling certificate who wish to meet their refresher requirements and refresh their knowledge.

Are you inexperienced in safe lifting and injury prevention in a wind turbine environment, or do you not (or no longer) have a valid certificate? Then book a basic training.

The training is given in English. On request or if only Dutch-speaking students participate, the instruction can be given in Dutch.

• Valid GWO WINDA ID*

If you already have a WINDA ID: Please enter it in the comments field in the booking form.
If you do not have a WINDA ID yet: please request one. After filling in the requested data, an activation code, valid for 48 hours, will be sent to you by e-mail. Once you activate it and enter your password, you will receive a confirmation with your WINDA ID. Your WINDA ID will also appear at the top right of the page at that time. This WINDA ID is required for the registration of your certificates. We kindly ask you to send us your WINDA ID (preferably a few days before the training) by e-mail.

• Digital certificate as proof of completion. A paper certificate will be not sent by default. However, if desired, you can receive a paper GWO certificate at an additional cost of €17.50 excluding VAT. Read our blog article for more information.
