The First Aid refresher course is intended to keep the knowledge and skills of first aiders at the correct competency level. By taking part in this annual refresher training, first aiders ensure that they remain at the required level of competence and are thus eligible to extend the First Aid diploma of the Oranje Kruis. A first aider has more skill and expertise than a FAFS officer in providing life-saving first aid. If the RI&E of a company shows that the chance of an accident is greater than average, the company must have qualified First Aiders.

Contents First Aid for Accidents (EHBO) - Refresher
The practical exercises are repeated and a number of practical accidents are worked out. The theory is refreshed. Subjects that may come up for discussion during this refresher day include:

The EHBO refresher course is intended for people with a valid EHBO diploma who want to refresh their knowledge and must be able to show that they are competent. This can be done by following this one-day refresher course every year.
