Basic Safety SCC training (B-VCA) (English)
The basic VCA safety course (B-VCA) is designed primarily for people who need a B-VCA diploma for their job and for those who are going to take the exam for the first time.
If you perform work that involves risks or if you work in a high-risk environment, it is required to have a B-VCA diploma. This applies specifically if you are going to work for a company that is SCC-certified. Holding a B-VCA diploma is mandatory for all employees, including permanent employees, self-employed workers, trainees and so on. If you already have a diploma in VOL-VCA, VIL-VCU, Secondary Safety Education or Higher Safety Education, you are exempt from obtaining B-VCA.
If you have a lot of experience in the mentioned areas or if your B-VCA diploma is about to expire, you can book a B-VCA refresher course (English) or study at home using our B-VCA digibooks. In addition, you can book a B-VCA exam separately.
