Aerial platform 3A & 3B - Refresher
During this refresher course the knowledge and skills regarding working safely with the aerial work platform category 3A (also called mobile vertical work platform) and 3B (also called mobile tree work platform) are repeated.
You learn to work safely and responsibly with a category 3A and 3B aerial work platform, you learn about legal provisions, different models and types, power sources and safety requirements. You also take knowledge of inspection and possible wind load. You develop skills, learn to inspect the aerial work platform before use, how to set it up safely and how to move it. You will also get to work with the operation of the aerial platform. After the training you are able to act properly in emergency situations.

Contents Hoogwerker 3A & 3B - Refresher
The basic course Working safely with the aerial platform category 3A and 3B consists of a theoretical and a practical part.
Theory
- Definition of aerial platforms, models and types
- Relevant legal provision
- Practical and safe handling of the aerial work platform: various pieces of equipment, construction and layout, inspections and maintenance, load handling, possibilities and limitations
- Safety rules relating to safety equipment, workplace transport rules and AWP use
Practice
- Driving and safe operation
- Prevention of accidents and damage
- Recognition of dangerous defects
- Practical exercise on a set course, depending on the type of machine
Both the theoretical and practical part will be concluded with a test.

Recurrent training Aerial Work Platform 3A & 3B
This training is a refresher course, which is intended for people with experience of working with an aerial platform 3A and 3B.

Is a medical examination necessary for me to do my job?
No. It is not necessary to undergo a medical examination before starting work.

What is included in the price of the AWP 3A & 3B - Refresher?
- Digital certificate as proof of completion. A paper certificate will be not sent by default. However, if desired, you can receive a paper certificate at an additional cost of €25 excluding VAT. Read our blog article for more information.
