At DELTA Safety Training, we believe that it is important to create a personal experience for our clients. Whether it's a visit to our training center or contact by phone or email, it is always nice to know who you're talking to. Regularly, we give you some insights from behind the scenes and we introduce our colleagues to you. This month, we put our colleague Bob in the spotlight. He is a training specialist within the wind and petrochemical industry.

Bob; wind and petrochemical industry specialist
Bob has been a member of our team of training specialists for over 2.5 years now. Bob is a true professional and has gained a lot of practical experience while working in the wind industry. He has carried out maintenance work on wind turbines in the most remote areas and is therefore more than familiar with the situations that arise in practice. Bob is responsible for, among other things, teaching the courses GWO Working at Height, Flange Mechanic, Fork Lift Truck and Socket Casting.

Bob: "When I worked as a maintenance engineer, I also followed many training courses, which I now provide myself. From my own experience I know that it can be stressful for participants to demonstrate their competences or take the exam at the right time. It gives me great satisfaction to take away the tension and to calmly teach the participants their competences or guide them towards the exam."

In addition to his experience in the wind industry, Bob also gained some practical experience in the offshore oil and gas sector. However, this proved to be a less successful experience. The lack of sea legs and the regular experience of seasickness made Bob prefer to stay on dry land these days. We are of course very grateful that Bob can now pass on all his knowledge and experience to the participants in our training courses.
