ProSea and DELTA Safety training have started a partnership to offer ProSea's courses on sustainability in Rotterdam within the offshore oil and gas and maritime industry.

The Marine Environmental Awareness Course (MEAC) is a two-day course in which Marine Professionals are interactively involved in the sustainable maritime industry. The course focuses on the 'human element' and provides a foundation of knowledge and awareness necessary for the prevention of pollution at sea.
The need to acquire this knowledge is described in the STCW Code (Manila Amendments 2011). Our course challenges participants to see their own role in sustainability. In addition, the course reinforces professional competencies and demonstrates, with course certificate as proof, a proactive attitude of the company with regard to risk management and sustainability at sea. The course is based on the IMO Model Course 1.38, also developed by ProSea, which sets the international standard for Marine Environmental Awareness training. ProSea and DELTA Safety Training are organizing this two-day course at DELTA Safety Training starting in June 2017.
