The Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) prepares individuals for an emergency situation where a helicopter hits the water and can flip upside down. The training is primarily intended for people who work offshore, such as on oil platforms or wind farms at sea.
During the training, both the Emergency Breathing System (EBS) and the Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) are used.

Training content
During this course attention will be paid to:- Helicopter safety (theory/practical) including Emergency Breathing System (EBS)
- Practical helicopter escape techniques
- Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS)

Who is the training for?
This training is intended for persons who have not previously obtained a HUET certificate as well as for persons who wish to refresh their knowledge or have a valid diploma that will expire soon.
The training results in the following OPITO certifications:
- HUET with EBS (5095)
- HUET with CA-EBS (5295)

In what language will the training be conducted?
The training is provided in English as standard.
Upon request or if only Dutch speaking students participate, instruction can be provided in Dutch.

What should I bring to the training?
- A valid original identification document (passport, identity card or driver's license)
- Personal Safety Logbook (PSL) *optional
- Dry underwear
After the training you will receive a sticker for your safety passport (PSL). A safety passport can be obtained from us.
